Remember Me
It's safe to say I'm lonely now. A place called home is just a memory away. I know I've done this all before. A thousand silent voices begging me to stay.
Apologies all left unsaid, Secrets better left unspoken. Dreams are slowly put to bed, Rumors stirred and re-awoken. If I try to get away, how long until I'm free? And if I don't come back here, Will you remember me?
It's safe to say I'm nothing now. It's all so quiet but I can't forget the sound. A thousand voices call my name. A thousand hands that pull me back down to the ground. I turn away from what you are. Denying all that you have given. I find a place that's safe and far in time all will be forgiven.
If I try to get away, how long until I'm free? And if I don't come back here, Will you remember me?
Nothing and Nowhere
A voice moves silent through the twisted city streets. The eyes from tangled gardens peer. He grins a broken smile through shattered teeth. He brings the darkest time of year.
And he will save us now, And he will take us underground. Where we'll never be bound by love, Or the nightmares above.
The night of dreams when things are not as they may seem. Before the day we'll never know. He will take us while we're sleeping, and he will never let us go.
And he will save us now, And he will take us underground. And here we'll never be bound by love, Or the nightmares above.
We follow the sound, It's leading us down, Into the kingdom of under. We're lost and we're found, We're nothing and nowhere, Forever and ever.
And he will save us now, And he will take us underground. Where we'll never be bound by love, Or the nightmares above.
Queen of Hearts
He puts the gun to her head. She tells him everything. Her voice is haunted like a dream. He sews the crack in his heart before he tears her apart. In the basement underneath,
He says, "Never say no to me." "Never say no to me."
He burns her high school pictures and buries old dreams. He reads her diary once more. He cleans the tears from her eyes. He still can't stand to see her cry. Her face is broken and sore,
He says, "Never say no to me." "Never say no to me."
Night Time
I think it happened at night time. A cold rain drizzled down from space, Hiding tears from streetlight eyes. I saw the same familiar face. A something pseudo TV love. A mixed up girl who's something of a fairytale's romantic dream come true.
She breaks my heart and blurs my eyes, Her love is never easy. A magic made for tragic minds. And thinking back I should have known, That she could see right through me, And I would end up on my own.
Gazing through my window, She glittered like the starlit rain. Whispering tales of broken hearts. She told me things would never change, There was only so much words could say. We closed our eyes and we dreamed away, And for a time our love was almost real.
She breaks my heart and blurs my eyes, Her love is never easy. A magic made for tragic minds. And looking back I should have known, That she could see right through me, And I would end up on my own.
The Neverending Story
Turn around, Look at what you see
her face, The mirror of your dreams.
Make believe I'm everywhere. I'm hidden in your eyes. Visions on the pages is the answer to our never ending story
Reach the stars. Fly a fantasy. Dream a dream. And what you see will be
Eyes that keep their secrets will unfold behind the clouds. There upon the rainbow is the answer to our never ending story
Show no fear, for she may fade away. In your hands, the birth of a new day.
Eyes that keep their secrets will unfold behind the clouds. There upon the rainbow is the answer to our never ending story
Never ending story.
Kill the Lights
This story's missing a wishing well No reason to show and tell No kiss I bring can break the spell I'm falling asleep
Every crook sings of fantasy The witch is inside of me Her poison will wash away my mind
We kill the lights And put on a show It's all a lie But she'll never know The star will shine And then it will fall But you'll never find them
And after midnight We're all the same No ration to bring the steam Nobody to take the blame We're falling apart
And this song is a waiting game A flower for every name Their colors are fading An d falling
We kill the lights And put on a show It's all a lie But she'll never know The star will shine And then it will fall But you won't climb any wall
And I know it's so much better to pretend There's something's waiting for you here Every letter that you wrote Has found its way to me my dear You can make believe that what you say Is what I want to hear
I'll be dancing to this beautiful, delusional dream. Faking every tear Looking like a comprimise suicide Keeping all my dreams alive |
